Harriman’s Coffee House

Harriman’s Coffee House is a little gem in the community, operated solely by a group of dedicated volunteers. Patrons can enjoy specialty coffees and drinks such as lattes, steamers and blended ice beverages. Homemade baked goods are always available, as well as homemade caramel rolls on Wednesday and Saturday. The Coffee House is a gathering place for stimulating drinks and conversation.

Maddock Community Library

The Maddock Community Library is located on the main floor in the Harriman Building. The library is proud offer weekly story time, Book Club, and community speakers and authors.

Public Wi-Fi services are available throughout the building.

Meeting Room

The Harriman Meeting Room, located on the first floor, is available for rent. Room capacity is 25 and AV equipment is available. Great room for a birthday, meetings, or even a dinner with friends.

Harriman’s Restaurant / Bobcat Bar

Harriman’s Restaurant and Bobcat Bar, operated by Jim Walter, offers full restaurant service to include home-cooked breakfast and lunch menus. Supper menu includes pastas, steaks, seafood, and legendary chicken. Harriman’s also offers full catering services.

The Bobcat Bar is open Monday through Thursday, 4 – 11 pm and Friday through Saturday, 4 pm – 1 am.

Opera House Ballroom

If you are looking for a truly unique venue for your special event, consider the beautifully restored Opera House Ballroom, located on the 2nd floor of the Harriman Building. A grand staircase leads up to the ballroom and an elevator is available. The ballroom boasts a solid oak hardwood floor, elegant wall sconce lighting and vintage “Thomas Edison” overhead fixtures. A state of the art sound system is available, and year-round climate control is in place. A small kitchen area, restrooms, and a full stage with a restroom are also located on this floor. Catering is available through Harriman’s Restaurant and Bobcat Bar. Occupancy rate is a maximum of 225. Past events held in the Opera House Ballroom include musicals and dessert theaters, concerts, meetings, reunions and receptions. We have package rentals to suit your needs.
